It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. Related Buildings: Chapel and Bridge Tender's House (former Wells St. Bridge). See AHI# 64633 and 64913. Early Cream City brick house. Note hoodmolds over round arch windows and door. House is in the process of restoration. No original building permit on file. June 2021: This 1 ½ story Italianate gabled ell house was constructed c.1868. The building features a stone foundation, cream brick walls, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof with a wide, unornamented cornice board. A cream brick chimney projects from the roof peak of the side-gabled mass. Primary character-defining features include the building’s asymmetrical composition; round-arched windows and doorway with inverted U-shaped brick hoods; multi-pane sash windows with narrow stone sills; and moderately overhanging eaves. The building consists of the primary 1 ½ story gabled-ell building mass and a c.1901 1-story addition to the northwest corner.
