This was apparently Edward Schrage's house before building his concrete block residence at 805 Racine Street.
The Edward Schhrage house is located on the east side of Doty Island. Situated in residential neighborhood, the Schrage House is two-story rectangular Queen Anne residence featuring a large bay. The multi-gabled roof material is asphalt, the siding is asbestos, and the foundations are random stone. The wood shingled gable ends feature ornamented verge boards. Windows are double-hung sash with the small upper pane surrounded by colored lights. A porch featuring turned spindles and lattciework encompasses the facade on the ground story.
2009--Since last surveyed in 1984, the entire porch has been replaced.
