Property Features
This two-story, vernacular house was constructed c.1865. The walls are clad in red brick, resting on a fieldstone
foundation. The front gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles and features an interior brick chimney, and the eaves
feature dentilled brick cornices with returns. The main entrance is centered on the symmetrical front (north) facade,
accessed via concrete stairs with a metal pipe railing. Door and window openings have segmental arch brick headers,
and windows are one-over-one, double-hung, replacement sash. There is a one-story brick wing on the rear (south)
elevation.
The house is an example of a common vernacular form with minimal stylistic detail and replacement windows.
