THIS TWO-STORY, GABLED ELL HOUSE FEATURES AN L-SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A RANDOM ASHLAR FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND AN ASPHALT-SHINGLED GABLE ROOF. EXTENDING AT THE SIDE OF THE DWELLING IS A ONE-STORY WING; IT CONTAINS A PORCH WHOSE ROOF IS SUPPORTED BY TURNED POSTS. BARGEBOARDS AND A DECORATIVE GABLE ORNAMENT APPEAR IN THE OPEN GABLE END. THE PROMINENT WINDOW LINTELS ARE CARVED. ALTHOUGH IT IS IN NEED OF PAINT, THIS C. 1880 RESIDENCE (SEE BIB. REF. A) IS CONSIDERED TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS DWELLING AND THE DATES OF THEIR ASSOCIATION INCLUDE R. J. PENHALLEGON, FROM 1880 TO 1885; AND JOSEPH OPIE IN 1890. (SEE BIB. REF. A).
