Additional Comments
This two story gabled ell house features a T-shaped plan configuration with a wing, a granite stone foundation, an asphalt sided exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled shed and multi-gabled roof. Situated in the crux of the ell is a small open designed porch. Its shed roof is supported by turned columns which are detailed with decorative brackets. A scalloped frieze, a balustrade and a latticework porch base are other porch elements. The residence is in fair condition. A related building is a garage. Architectural/Engineering Significance: This structure contributes to the significance of the Nathan Strong Park Historic District under Criterion C as a modest Queen Anne village house with a spindlework porch. The original wood siding is now covered in asbestos tile siding.
