Additional Comments
This 2 story colonial revival residence has clapboard exterior fabric. The foundation is rock faced. The hip roof has one hip roof and one gable roof dormer. The front gabel dormer has shingled returns and a wood arch over 3/2 window. There aer brackets under the eave and fishscales in the front dormer. The window frames are wide wood with an entablature. There is a side window with a semi-circular head. The full front porch has a hip roof with a pedimented gable and small brackets under the eaves. There are round columns with capitals (one of these has been cut down). A 1st story front picture window has 4 panes. The cornice is boxed and there are endboards. The 1 1/2 story garage has clapboard exterior fabric (see 29-23). The hip roof has a front gable dormer with returns and a 2/2 window. There is a plain frieze and side windows. The cornice is boxed and there are endboards. This residence has most of its integrity intact. It is a fine example of colonial revival details. It is a popular style and better examples can be found. This one has no architectural significance.
