THIS BRICK TWO-STORY COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE FEATURES A FLAT SLOPING ROOF AND SEGMENTAL ARCHED, FILLED-IN WINDOWS IN THE SIDE ELEVATIONS. THE FRONT FACADE HAS BEEN ALMOST ENTIRELY ALTERED. THE ONLY VISIBLE PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL FACAE IS THE PROJECTED CORNICE, WHICH FEATURES BRACKETS, GARLANDS, AND ACROTERIA AT THE CORNERS.
OTTO KLEINHAMMER WAS THE "BUILDER-ARCHITECT" FOR THIS BUILDING IN 1895. (SEE BIB. REF. A). HOWEVER, THE INTENSIVE SURVEY FORM INDICATES THE NAME OF THE ARCHITECT AS BEING HENRY KLEINHAMMER.
