SCHUETT-FREY WERE THE original BUILDERS AND DEBBINK WAS THE original MASON.Church was established by Immanuel as a mission. The first chapel was built in 1876 at the corner of Kane Pl. and Cambridge Ave. This building was moved to Thomas St. and Frederick Ave.
Westminster Presbyterian is an excellent example of a late 19th century Gothic Revival church. Built of red pressed brick, it was considerably altered in 1913 by the architects Leehouts and Guthrie.
