A 'site file' exists for this property under the name 'Jabodon'. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. The central block of the house is two-story with a gabled roof with rafters under the eaves. A matching one-story wing projects from each side of the central block. In between the central block and the wings are matching two-story pavilions, with a half-hipped roof. A shed roof dormer is on the second story of the main elevation. Several shed roofs are found as architectural details on portions of the south and north elevations. All of the shed roofs are supported with two by six wooden supports. A one-story porch run the width of the front elevation. The porch, originally open, was enclosed in the late 1940s. There are two interior and two exterior chimneys.
