Associated with cabin (AHI No. 149361)
This one-story rustic cabin (AHI NO. 149361) was constructed c.1920. It is located on a hill on the north side of WIS 60 and overlooks the Wisconsin River. It is of frame construction, sheathed in droplap siding, and a combination concrete-block and concrete-slab foundation. The foundation of the front (south) facade is covered in horizontal wood lattice siding. The side-gable roof is covered in asphalt singles and features a wide eave overhang with exposed rafters and an interior brick chimney. The front facade of the cabin features an enclosed porch with three bands of three, one-over-one, replacement windows. The side (east and west) elevations feature paired, one-over-one, double-hung windows, and the east elevation contains two replacement screen doors.
The property also includes a c.1920 boathouse located on the south side of WIS 60. The one-story building is set into the side of the river bank and it is of frame construction with a combination concrete-block and concrete-slab foundation. The front-gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles with overhanging eaves and visible rafters, and the walls are sheathed in droplap siding in a similar style to that of the cabin. The boathouse also features an exposed basement level with a garage door that provides access to the Wisconsin River on the south elevation. The north elevation has two original sliding wood panel doors. The side elevations feature one-over-one, double-hung, wood windows. The west elevation also has a modern replacement door for pedestrian use.
