2025: Appearance unchanged since 2016. Resurveyed 2016 by UWM-CRM as part of Milwaukee Bublr bikeshare project. 2016- "This Collegiate Gothic-style university building was constructed in 1921 for the Milwaukee Area Technical College after designs by Van Ryn & DeGelleke. The 6-story brick structure features window bays separated by brick pilasters. Towers are located near the east and west ends of the facade, and contain a grouping of quatrefoil windows beneath stone panels at the top. The building's cornice features lancet-shaped stone moldings and crockets atop the parapet. Windows appear to be replacements, although they are unchanged since the previous survey. A large addition has been constructed to the west (rear) of the original 1921 portion. The building is within the APE for proposed station site #39- MATC." -"Mult. Locations, Milwaukee, 7.5 series", WisDOT #2190-06-01, Prepared by Kelly Noack and Justin Miller, UWM-CRM (2016). "Today the Milwaukee Vocational and Adult Schools and the Milwaukee Institute of Technology hold classes covering a wide range of academic, vocational, and a vocational subjects for students of all ages. The school, opened in 1911, moved into what is now the northwest corner of the main building in 1920. As the name carved over the doorway there indicates, the site was chosen for its central location; and continuation students from all sections of Milwaukee attended classes there. Since that time, expansion of the original building into two adjoining units and two additional structures has been accompanied by changes in name, in turn reflecting the changing nature of the educational program."
