Davidson Cafeteria

Image

Postcard with two views of the cafeteria. At the top is an exterior view of the cafeteria located at 117 Monona Avenue (now Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard), and below is an interior view of the dining room, which is on two levels. The text on back reads: "The Davidson Cafeteria is located at 117 Monona Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin, just one-half block from the State Capitol. One of America's finest and most beautiful cafeterias. Your food is prepared in small quantities by women cooks to insure freshness and flavor. Homelike, sensibly priced. Chicken in the Rough served on the balcony or take out. Closed Saturdays, Marcel Comte, General Manager."
