Interstate State Park

Elevated view of a canoe on the St. Croix River with wooded areas on both sides within the Interstate State Park. Established in 1900, Interstate Park was the first of Wisconsin's state parks. It was created on a cooperative basis with the state of Minnesota, which has jurisdiction over the portion of the park situated on the west bank of the St. Croix River.
