Beer Fermentation Vats

Open-top primary fermentation vats at Fauerbach Brewing Company, used for brewing beer. The wooden vats were made of white oak. There is a pump visible on the floor by the vats. The ovular manholes toward the bottom of the vats provided access into them for cleaning.
