The scene includes two cows, two birds, a haystack, windmill, out buildings and a farmhouse, where a women looks towards him, standing on the porch next to clothes and sheets drying on the line. Line-drawn clouds fill the sky overhead and the bare branches of trees suggest late winter or early spring.
