Beauty Pageant

Image

A local beauty pageant for Wisconsin-wide media outlets and community organizations. The line-up of contestants are wearing one-piece bathing suits (with and without straps), kitten heels (peep- and closed-toe), red lipstick and sashes identifying their sponsor ("Miss Eau Claire Press," "Miss WISN-TV," "Miss Lake County Reporter," and "Miss Ripon Commonwealth Press"). Standing to face the camera, most of the women have their hair pulled back, and some are wearing studded earrings. They group is standing in a turquoise painted room with a high-ceiling before a blue photographer's backdrop.
