An Accurate Map of the United States of America: According to the Treaty of Peace of 1783

Map

This is a map of the United States east of the Mississippi River. It shows borders, treaty lines, forts, cities, towns, Native American nations, mountains, swamps, lakes, rivers, portages, and the "twenty leagues line" along the Atlantic coast. Dotted lines and notes designate the lands granted or reserved for various troops and companies of the American Revolutionary War, particularly between the Illinois and Ohio River. Other annotations dot the map, including one that stretches across the Wisconsin and Illinois reading "divided into 10 states by a Resolve of Congress in 1784."
