Identified as "A lunch counter for birds," a platform feeder has been mounted on a fence post behind Gardners Prairie School, District No. 7, Town of Spring Prairie. Beyond the fence, corn shocks and stubble protrude from drifted snow; there is wooded land in the background. A lone bird sits on the feeder which casts a long shadow on the snow.
