Sawyer House

View from street towards the home of Senator Philetus Sawyer. Sawyer was mayor of Oshkosh from 1863 to 1864, and served on the House of Representatives from 1865 to 1875. He became a U.S. Senator in 1881 and died in 1900 at the age of 83.
