Accessing Collections
The vast majority of the items in our collections are not online. The Society owns thousands of archival collections viewable in our Archives reading room. To view and conduct research in our collections, visit us in person.
Van Niel Shrine
1890
A shrine put up by J.H. Van Niel, who came over with Fr. Van den Broek. Destroyed about 1895.
Zeeland Mills
1865
Zeeland Mills, built in 1862 by John Verstegen. The flour mill was 36' x 50', four stories and had "two runs of stone." It was still operating in 1911.
Little Chute Tavern
June 1898
View across road towards what is believed to be the oldest tavern in Little Chute, built in the 1850's. It was later known as Mrs. Benoit's home.
