Wisconsin Governor Tommy G. Thompson, a member of the Amtrak governing board, joins an unidentified Amtrak official as the train breaks a ceremonial banner at the Amtrak station marking the start of increased service on the famous Hiawatha line between Chicago and Milwaukee. The new service was subsidized in part by Wisconsin and Illinois.
