Gangster Museum

A small cottage with a tarpaper roof houses the "Gangster Museum" on the grounds of Little Bohemia. The corner of the main lodge is at far left, and Little Star Lake is in the background. A man and girl are sitting on a bench in front of the cottage. A sign painted on the siding advertises the "Personal Belongings of John Dillinger, Tommy Carroll, Homer Van Meter, John Hamilton and Baby Face Nelson." The museum commemorated an ill-fated F.B.I. raid at Little Bohemia on April 20, 1934, in which an agent and innocent bystander were killed, and the gangsters escaped unharmed.
