077 - Camper Working Outdoors on Pressing a Flower

Image

A young camper is seated at an outdoor wood table arranging a flower on a sheet of paper. On the table near her are spread out all the supplies she is using: a hand bound book on wildflowers, paper, scissors, glue, and paint brush. Her hair is pulled back with a hair band and she is wearing the camp uniform. Original caption notes: "Nature study permeates every corner of camp life, for in order to enjoy the outdoors and be comfortable in it, we must know and understand nature around us. Excellent wild flower collections are made by some of the campers."
