Robert Doyle Napping

Image

Dick Hanley, of YANK Army Weekly magazine, snapped this photo of Robert Doyle taking a nap on the L-shaped desk in what appears to be a room used by correspondents. Two folding chairs are in the foreground. There is a typewriter on the left with an envelope from LIFE magazine on top of it, and envelopes from the War Department on the right. On the side of the negative is written, "Dick Hanley YANK 25."
