Robert Doyle, Journal war correspondent, took his wire recorder aboard the battleship Wisconsin while it was part of Admiral Halsey's 3rd fleet off the coast of Japan, to make one of his "Overseas With Bob Doyle" transcriptions, aired Sundays, 12:15 p.m., WTMJ. From left to right the lads interviewed by Doyle are: Frank Reiter, Seaman First Class; Ray Zuber, Seaman First Class; both from Milwaukee; Chester Sturgal, baker, of Ashland; Ralph Derdzinski, Quartermaster Second Class; and Joseph Dean, Jr., Seaman First Class, both of Milwaukee.
