Grant County Sycamore

A mature sycamore tree standing in front of farm buildings and a silo. There is a mailbox and fire number sign at the edge of a road in the foreground. The tree was brought to Wisconsin from Ohio by Joseph Crain Orr at the end of the Civil War and planted in memory of his son, who died from wounds suffered in the war.
