Katherine Dexter McCormick operating a horse-drawn grain binder on a 1,320 acre farm near west of Fargo, North Dakota. The five men following the binder are Mr. Pridmore, Mr. Cavanaugh, Mr. Brooks, a farmer and Mr. Sharp of the Osborne Experimental Department. The photograph was likely taken by Katherine's husband, Stanley McCormick.
