Sha-kpe (Little Six), Sioux
Portrait of Sha-kpe (Little Six), of the Sioux tribe. He engaged in the Massacre of 1862 and boasted of having killed 13 women and children.
Sioux Anpetu-tokeca
Anpetu-tokeca (Other Day), of the Sioux tribe, who rescued 62 people in the Massacre of 1862 in Minnesota.
Wa-Kan-O-Zhan-Zhan (Medicine Bottle), Sioux
Portrait of Wa-Kan-O-Zhan-Zhan (Medicine Bottle) of the Sioux tribe. He engaged in the Massacre of 1862 and was a prisoner at Fort Snelling.
Old Bets, Sioux
Portrait of Old Bets, of the Sioux tribe. Old Bets will be remembered with gratitude by the Minnesota captives for her kindness in 1862.
Te-He-Do-Ne-Cha (One Who Forbids His House), Sioux
Portrait of Te-He-Do-Ne-Cha (One Who Forbids His House) of the Sioux tribe. He was a warrior who was executed at Mankato for his involvement in the Massacre of 1862.
