Mill Building — Walnut Grove

Image

View looking up towards the back of the mill building with stone foundation built into the side of the hill. The mill is partially constructed of logs, not yet chinked, and has a peaked roof. A ladder is leaning on the back of the building, and scaffolding is near the roof. On the left is the corner of the Blacksmith Shop, and there is a building in the background on the right. Large logs are piled in the foreground. Handwritten on back: "Note tailrace, pillar to support outer end of shaft of water wheel, logs on which shaft rests, and opening in wall where shaft goes through."
