Billhead of Star Brewery of Appleton, Wisconsin, with an elevated three-quarter view of the brewery and surrounding streets and buildings. On the right side there is a circular logo with the initials G and W (George Walter, proprietor) intertwined on a six-pointed red medallion surrounded by wheat or barley stalks and hop leaves, embellished with stalks of wheat or barley. Star later changed its name to the George Walter Brewing Company, which closed in the early 1970s. Printed by the Beck & Pauli Litho. Company, Milwaukee.
