"As a result of the storm some farms did not have electricity for five days. A generator was shared by many farmers and was moved from farm to farm so that cows could be milked. Vern Steger is shown operating the generator."

Ronald and Kathleen Steger, who refused to be in the picture, live at W2372 McArthur Rd (Section 18). They lived here 31 years and last milked cows on July 22, 2004.
