Radish Back at Work

Image

A man in work overalls is posing standing along a carpentry table, under a banner that reads: "WELCOME BACK JOHN". Additional signs read: "Welcome JOHN" and "NO DRINKING". Caption reads: "RADISH BACK AT WORK — Chief carpenter John Radish was greeted by banners and signs upon his return to work in mid-December. Radish, who had been ill a month with heart trouble, is 'feeling fine' now. The large letters were cut out by Jacqueline Gaulke, building department secretary."
