Early Highway Trailer

An auto-trailer, an early trailer manufactured by the Highway Trailer Company of Edgerton. The company began by manufacturing trailers designed for farmers to haul goods to market using their cars. When equipped with higher sides the trailer could be used for transporting cattle. Behind the trailer is the Goodwin Grocery which identifies the location as brick-paved Vine Street in Beloit.
