Quarter-length studio portrait of Alma Schmidt Petersen (1894-1989). The granddaughter of Chicago brewer Conrad Seipp, Alma and her husband Dr. William F. Petersen were owners of Black Point Estate. Their son, William O. Petersen, donated the estate to the State of Wisconsin in 2005.
