Louise Marston (right), society editor, accepts a check from three barbershop singers for the Wisconsin State Journal's Empty Stocking Fund. The donation is from the proceeds of a concert by the Madison chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America. Presenting the check are Roy Brumley, Calmer Browy, and Walter A. "Pat" O'Leary.
