A visit to the Madeline Island Museum is a journey through time, exploring the stories of the many peoples who have called the island home. This field trip program traverses four historic structures that combine to form the heart of this modern museum featuring fascinating objects and engaging exhibits telling Ojibwe, French, British, and American stories.

10:00 am to 4:00 pm
50 people max for each program
Field trips available April – October
Programs typically take 90 minutes
We require a 1:10 adult to student ratio

$3 per student
$6 per chaperone
$0 school staff

Know Before You Go

Madeline Island field trips can take place in indoor and outdoor locations. Please dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. Please let Madeline Island Museum staff know at least one week before your visit of any requested accommodations. Madeline Island Museum Staff can help you book your ferry to the island.
