History in the Making
Investigate primary sources and share your Wisconsin story at the History Maker Space! This hands-on, inquiry-based program invites learners to explore and analyze images, objects, and more, culminating in a showcase of their ideas in a student-curated exhibit.
Making History: From the Sources
Expand your understanding of historic people, places, and events through a hands-on exploration of primary sources! This program puts learners in the role of historian and takes them through the process of creating a museum exhibit. Sift through evidence from Wisconsin’s past as you contemplate, curate, and communicate your ideas in the present.
Wisconsin Innovations
Explore the wide world of Wisconsin Innovations! Through hands-on activities, students will learn about our state’s history of problem-solving, creative thinking, and invention, while also practicing historical thinking as they create their own spin on Wisconsin ideas and traditions.
