Black Point Field Trip

Black Point Estate was built for Chicago Beer Baron Conrad Seipp in 1888 as a retreat, and in that spirit the home remains a place to relax, refresh, and explore. Considered one of the finest examples of period architecture and furniture in the Midwest, and one of the oldest homes in Lake Geneva. Black Point is a great stop for your next field trip! 

Students will learn about historic preservation, entrepreneurship, lake living in the 19th and 20th century and the importance of community service and philanthropy. Guided tours include access to the first and second floor of the house and a portion of the gardens. Experience the worlds and wonders of Wisconsin’s past. Book your field trip today!

Programs are designed for students in grades K-12
50 people maximum for each program
Field trips available May 1 – October 31
Each field trip lasts 60 minutes
All programs must include a 1:10 adult to student ratio
School groups drive directly to Black Point Estate

Registration fees:

$5 per student
$0 for teachers and school staff
$5 per chaperone

Know Before You Go

Black Point field trips can take place in indoor and outdoor locations. Please dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. Please let Black Point staff know at least one week before your visit of any requested accommodations
