They do, however, appear in the 1930 census. In 1930 they were living in Fitchburg. Thomas, a Wisconsin native, was 48 and worked as a truck farm gardener. His wife, Jean, was 30 and French Canadian. She came to the United States in 1915. They were married in 1916. As of 1930, her sister Marie Koeble and brother Joseph Koeble lived with them. Marie came to the U.S. in 1917 and Joseph in 1928. Joseph was a carpenter. |
