Additional Information: | This two story house features an L-shaped plan configuration, a stucco foundation, an aluminum/vinyl sided exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable roof. The building is designed in the gabled ell style. A full lenght front porch has its roof supported by squared posts. This former single family residence, which is in poor condition, presently serves as a duplex. Related to this house is a garage; no description of it was given in the Intensive Survey Form. Individuals associated with this dwelling and the dates of their associations include the following: Jude Balch, from 1866 to 1872, and Alf and Jennie Jones, from 1909 to 1941, and William W. Menzies. Menzies operated a coal business from the turn of the century to 1938. |
