Associated Individuals: H. Niedecken and Co. 1886 - Manufacturer of blank books and dealers in paper and stationery. ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Excellent example of a large commercial block of this date with elaborate decorative elements in nearly original condition. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: N. Niedecken and Company was established in Milwaukee in 1847. They were the oldest manufacturers of blank books and dealers in paper and stationary in Wisconsin. |
