NOTES
Additional Information:ARCHED ENTRY ROOF From 2025 Survey: The Dutch Colonial Revival style house at 4 Hewett Street is positioned on a deep lot bound by a concrete sidewalk and grass extension to the east, picket fences to the south and west, and a concrete driveway to the north. The driveway truncated at a garage was situated northwest of the house. The lot is covered by manicured grass with foundation plantings along the east facing façade. Trees dot the property. The two-story house has a rectilinear plan and was constructed ca. 1930. The house is sheathed in clapboard siding and rests on a concrete block foundation. The gambrel roof is clad in asphalt shingles, and has moderate, flared eaves with cornice returns. A brick chimney stack surmounts the ridgeline near the center of the house. The vinyl windows feature six-over-one sashes on the first story and eight-over-one sashes on the second story. The symmetric façade is three bays wide. The first story includes a central door sheltered by a round arch hood flanked by paired windows with false shutters. A nearly full-length shed roof dormer pierces the east roof slope with three windows stacked above the first story fenestration. The central window on the second story is flanked by false shutters. Three concrete steps lead to a stoop flanked by simple railings on each side. The north elevation has two bays of stacked windows and a half-moon vent in the gable peak.
