Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. J.M. Ruby, builder. This brick building provided space for two stores, with apartments and offices above, and was constructed in 1884 at a cost of $5,000. The red brick facade is dominated by stone string courses and a band of terra cotta ornament. Simple corbelling tops the facade.
