| Additional Information: | Two story, hipped roof, coursed stone foundation, segmental arch windows. The earliest available plat map (1874) lists B.M. Fairbanks as living on this 180-acre parcel. He maintained it into the 1890s. Between 1900 and 1910 the property was purchased by Charles W. Schaumberg, who was born in 1865 and had married his wife Lillian in 1895. The Schaumbergs remained on the property until at least 1940. Gerritt C. Hesselink had obtained ownership by 1961. A basement barn (AHI #225034) also stands on this property. |
