| Additional Information: | This early house is unusual for its gambrel hip roof and the [wholeness] of its material. NW facade has multiple gambrel projections from the side extension. Original 2/2 windows are intact and so is the entry canopy. 2008-Since the last survey card on file (1982), this house has been re-sheathed with vinyl siding and the windows have been replaced and re-sized. As a result, the house no longer meets survey standards. An update photo is provided. 2008- "Between 1982 and 2000, the subject house has been re-sided with vinyl, all windows have been replaced and resized, and both brick chimneys have been removed. Based on those alterations, the house no longer meets current survey standards." - "Beaser Ave, 18th St to Lake Shore Dr W", WisDOT ID #9952-14-00, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd (Schnell) (2008). |
