| Additional Information: | In nearly original condition, this structure is a highly visible focal point of the public square. The Galesville Public Square Park was platted with the village. It was donated to the community by George Gale, the founder of Galesville and the "Father of Trempealeau County." The bandstand was erected downtown in 1912 after the public raised $1,000 for the project. The local Chautauqua Society helped raise funds. |
