| Additional Information: | This larger, two-story, brick house is square in plan with a shallow projection to the front of about half of the primary facade. The upper story windows are topped with plain, segmental arches while the lower story windows and door have caps of slightly projecting, stilted segmental arches. The roof is hipped and is, basically, a shallow pyramid. A porch projects from the receding portion of the facade and has a pitched roof supported by turned porch posts. The balustrade and stair rails have been replaced with modern wrought iron. Despite the modifications to the porch, this building remains of architectural interest as a variation of a common local building style. |
