| Additional Information: | This two-story house is simply detailed with the most visible feature being a gambrel roof. This Dutch Colonial Revival characteristic and the pattern of the glass within the primary window's transom are indicaytive of this early 20th century derivative style. The gable wall is accented with plain, sawtooth, and wave-pattern fancybutt shingles while the main covering is clapboard. The porch is quite plainly detailed and, with the exception of new wrought iron railings, may be original. This smaller house is of interest as a relatively intact example of a locally common vernacular building style. |
