| Additional Information: | Clapboard covers this homestead residence. Details are colonial revival. It is 2 stories and the gabel roof has the gable end facing the road. Shingled returns are on the gable as one angular fishscales and a diamond shaped window. The plan is rectangular and the foundation is rock faced. Most window frames are wide wood with an entablature. There is a 4 pane picture window in front. The full front porch has a hip roof. There is a plain frieze, endboards and box cornice. Window and porch alterations have detracted from teh basic integrity of this home. There are better examples of this style in the city. |
