| Additional Information: | Clapboard is the exterior fabric on this 1 1/2 story house. The plan is rectangular. The gable roof has the gable end facing the road. There are shingled gable returns, a box cornice, endboards and a plain frieze under the eaves. The front gable has diamond shaped fishscales. There is a side shed roof dormer with diamond shaped fishscales and fishscales. The side box bay window has brackets below it. Window frames are wood with an entablature. A full front porch is enclosed and has a hip roof. The photo is a side view, the front is obstructed by evergreens. This bungalow has some good woodwork details intact. It is a popular style of which finer examples exist. This one hsa no architectural significance. |
